1. Regulatory or Mandatory Signs

These traffic signs are used to indicate a prohibition of a particular vehicle maneuver or vehicle type or restrictions such as parking restriction, speed limit, etc.

Purpose:

  • To regulate traffic operations.
  • These signs are to be compulsorily followed, violating which is a legal offence.

Exception:
